Akuapem Poloo has alleged a woman called Maa Alice gave comedian DKB GH¢4,000 to be given to her as donation but she never received the money.
Speaking in an Instagram video on Thursday, the controversial social media sensation said that was just one of the many calls she had from people who sent her monies but she is yet to receive.
“There is something I want to clear because it is tarnishing my name…Since I returned from jail a lot of people have been calling my business number telling me that they have given money to some people to give it to me and after I came back I couldn’t take their numbers to call them to say thanks to them. You guys should know Poloo appreciates any little thing anyone does for her not to talk of giving me money to support me and my son.
I want to say that aside ‘Those_called_celebs who people gave money to send to me and my mother, which she was even posting the references on her page. Any money that she sends she posts it on her page. I have not received any money from any person. People have been calling me from UK and US that they have given me money and then I didn’t say thank you so I’m ungrateful. I have not received any money,” she stated.
“A woman called yesterday that she is called Maa Alice when I was in town doing delivery. She said she had given GH¢4,000 to DKB to give to me and I didn’t say thanks and she doesn’t want to see me. The woman talked bitterly,” she claimed.
According to her, she called DKB to inquire about the money but he didn’t respond to her calls. He also didn’t return her call as of the time she came online to vent.
Earlier, when Poloo was in jail, DKB tried to raise funds to support her and her son. In so doing, he circulated on social media Akuapem Poloo’s bank account and MoMo number details for those who want to support her to send her their help direct. Interestingly, her management distanced itself from DKB’s quest to raise funds for Poloo despite the fact that he (DKB) said she was aware.
Now Poloo is putting DKB on blast for allegedly keeping her money.
