The President of Ghana Nana Akuffo Addo has appointed Formal Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Mr Kwaku Asomah Cheremeh as Ghana’s High Commissioner to India.
The President announced this when he met the Sunyani Traditional Council during his tour of the Bono Region.
He said Mr Kwaku Kyeremeh should represent Ghana’s path towards the revitalization of the economy and work to fulfill those objective.
President Nana Akuffo Addo congratulated him and encouraged him to do his best at duty post.
His younger brother, who is a Member of Parliament for Sunyani East Constituency, Kwasi Ameyaw Cheremeh has also been approved as Board Chairman of the Bui Power Authority.

Meanwhile, Miss Elizabeth Ohene, a renowned journalist, politician and formal minister of state was also appointed as chairperson for the board of directors of Social Security and National Trust (SSNIT).
Miss Ohene during first term in the administration of President Akuffo Addo served as a speech writer, contributing to most of the speeches delivered by the President during the course of his term.
She also once served as Government spokesperson in the President Agyekum Kuffour administration.
Miss Elizabeth Ohene is expected to join the management of SSNIT to accomplish the vision of the trust which is to be the module for the administration of Social Protection Scheme in Africa and beyond.
