American boxing legend Mike Tyson is reportedly planning to come out of retirement for the first time since he hanged his gloves.
The 53-year-old was unarguably one of the very best during his reign in the rings – winning 50 of his 58 fights in a career span that lasted for two decades.
Tyson remains one of the youngest and toughest boxers to have won the highest titles in the boxing category.
Former world heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs reveals the retired pugilist is ready to fight current WBC holder Deontay Wilder.
Unlike Tyson, the Bronze Bomber is yet to lose any of his professional fights and he is due to face off with Tyson Fury in part two of their bout on February 22.
Asked who the eventual winner would be if the fight ever happened, Briggs told EsNews: ” Tyson will win! [Are] you crazy ? according to Sport Bible.
” Before you go in the ring with Mike Tyson, you lose everything you win in the training camp out of fear .”
Tyson retired from boxing after successive defeats to Danny Williams and Kevin McBride, 48-year-old Briggs insists Tyson isn’t through with fighting just yet.
Meanwhile, the former WBO winner outrightly rejected fighting Tyson when he was asked, saying: ” No, no, that’s my boy. -I love him as my big bro . ” But he said he still wants to fight, though. He said he still wants to fight !”
