The Head Coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo, is set to announce the full squad of the Black Stars for the 2022 World Cup.

This is according to a release by the Ghana Football Association on Thursday, November 11th on its website. Coach Otto Addo has been eagerly expected to release the final squad of players for the Ghanaian national team for the 2022 World Cup set to begin on the 20th of November.



This statement by the GFA comes after rumors of some ‘in-form’ payers were reportedly dropped by Coach Otto Adoo from the final squad. The rumors and reports of players such as Crystal Palace midfielder Jefery Schlupp, and Joseph Painstil being left out of the final squad have driven and generated mixed reactions from Ghanaians and football pundits.

According to the Ghana Football Association, the final 26-man squad will be released on Monday following an initial 56-man provisional squad named by Coach Otto Addo.
