Baba sadiq abu begins diplomatic assignment as ghana’s high commissioner-designate to nigeria

Ghana’s High Commissioner-designate to Nigeria, H.E. Baba Sadiq Abdulai Abu, has officially begun work at the Ghana High Commission in Abuja, marking the commencement of his diplomatic assignment in Nigeria.
His arrival at the mission signals the start of a new phase in Ghana’s diplomatic engagement with Nigeria, with expectations of strengthened cooperation between the two countries.
As High Commissioner-designate, H.E. Baba Sadiq Abdulai Abu is expected to play a key role in advancing Ghana’s interests while deepening bilateral relations in areas including trade, investment, education, security and people-to-people cooperation.
Ghana and Nigeria share longstanding historical, economic and cultural ties, as well as common interests in regional development and stability.
His assignment in Abuja is therefore expected to contribute to efforts to further strengthen the relationship between the two West African countries and promote greater collaboration for mutual benefit.
