Bank of Ghana releases daily exchange rates for Thursday, August 27

The Bank of Ghana has released its daily exchange rates for Thursday, August 27, 2026, showing the Ghana cedi’s trading rates against major international currencies.

According to the published rates, the US dollar is being bought at GH¢11.1954 and sold at GH¢11.2066.

The British pound sterling has a buying rate of GH¢15.2168 and a selling rate of GH¢15.2331, while the euro is quoted at a buying rate of GH¢13.0426 and a selling rate of GH¢13.0555.

The rates represent the average interbank exchange rates used by commercial banks for transactions at the close of business on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

The daily publication of the exchange rates provides businesses, financial institutions and the general public with an indication of prevailing interbank currency values and supports transparency in foreign exchange transactions.
