Bawumia visits newly completed St. Jude’s Catholic Church in New Weija

Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has visited the newly completed St. Jude’s Catholic Church in New Weija, following the completion of a project to which he contributed.

Dr. Bawumia toured the completed facility and witnessed the transformation of the church into a modern place of worship equipped with improved amenities to serve the congregation and the wider community.
His visit marked an opportunity to see firsthand the outcome of the construction project, which received support from him during its development.
The newly completed church is expected to provide a more conducive environment for worship, fellowship and other activities of the Catholic community in New Weija.

The occasion also highlighted the importance of collaboration between individuals, religious institutions and communities in developing infrastructure that serves both present and future generations.

Dr. Bawumia expressed his appreciation to the church leadership, members of the congregation and all those who contributed to bringing the project to completion.
