Black Sherif Set To Release Six-Track ‘Sun Sherif’ EP On September 4

Ghanaian music star Black Sherif is set to release his highly anticipated new EP, Sun Sherif, on Friday, September 4, 2026, giving fans a fresh body of work just months after his previous major project.
The award-winning artiste recently unveiled the official tracklist for the six-track project, building anticipation ahead of its release.
According to the announced tracklist, Sun Sherif opens with “Expresso” and continues with “Run Around” and “Forever,” which features fast-rising Ghanaian artiste AratheJay.
The project also includes “Jolie” and “Frontline” before closing with “Love Again,” featuring Full Blown.
A New Chapter For Black Sherif
The upcoming EP represents another addition to Black Sherif’s growing catalogue and follows his continued rise as one of Ghana’s most recognised young music exports.
Known for combining elements of Ghanaian drill, hip-hop, Afrobeats and highlife with deeply personal storytelling, Black Sherif has developed a distinctive musical identity that has attracted audiences beyond Ghana.
His breakthrough came with songs including “First Sermon,” “Second Sermon” and the widely successful “Kwaku The Traveller.” He later released his debut studio album, The Villain I Never Was, in 2022, followed by his second studio album, Iron Boy, in 2025.
AratheJay Collaboration Adds Fresh Energy
One of the notable moments on Sun Sherif is Black Sherif’s collaboration with AratheJay on “Forever.”
