Bono Regional Hospital suffers blood shortage

The Bono Regional Government Hospital is facing blood shortage at its blood bank and the situation has been attributed to the Covid 19 pandemic.

The authorities said the situation is making procedures like delivery services and other emergency cases extremely worried.

Mr.Kwabena Gyesi who is the medical laboratory scientist at the Bono Regional Government Hospital disclosed this in an interview, as Ghana joins to celebrate world blood day. He appealed to the general public to donate blood to avoid deaths.
