Ghana gold coin prices remain firm as Bank of Ghana announces latest rates

The Bank of Ghana has released its latest gold coin pricing for Monday, 31 August 2026, showing the prices for three available gold coin sizes.
According to the figures, the 0.25-ounce gold coin is priced at GH¢13,797.04, while the 0.50-ounce coin is selling at GH¢26,846.15.
The 1.00-ounce gold coin is priced at GH¢52,989.96, making it the most expensive of the three options.
The Bank of Ghana also indicated that the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) afternoon gold price, based on the previous day’s close, stood at US$4,562.75. The Bloomberg REGN USD/GHS rate for the previous day’s close was 11.2250.
The latest figures provide investors and members of the public with an indication of the prevailing value of gold coins in Ghana as the central bank continues to publish updated pricing information.
