Gomoa Central DCE Cautions Politicians Against Inflammatory Comments After New Winneba Clash
Gomoa Central DCE, Hackman Kwabena Adu, has urged community leaders, particularly politicians, to refrain from making pronouncements that could inflame tensions and trigger renewed clashes.
His call follows a violent dispute in New Winneba that left three people dead and 17 others injured.
Adding his voice to the call, the Effutu MCE, Atta Mensah, says the Effutu Municipal and Gomoa Central District Assemblies will cover the medical bills of the injured.
He also assured residents that adequate security measures have been deployed to maintain calm in the affected communities.
