Govt Must Find Permanent Solution To Transportation Crisis In Accra – Alex Gyan

A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communications Team, Alex Gyan, has called on the government to find a lasting solution to the growing difficulty commuters face in accessing vehicles in Accra.

According to Mr. Gyan, the worsening transportation situation in the capital is causing serious inconvenience to workers, students and traders who spend long hours at bus stops waiting for vehicles.

He said as a serious government, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration must take urgent and pragmatic steps to address the problem.

Mr. Gyan noted that the inadequate number of commercial vehicles on the roads, coupled with poor road networks and recurring traffic congestion, has exacerbated the plight of commuters.

He urged the Ministry of Transport to engage transport operators and invest in mass public transport systems to ease the pressure on commuters and ensure smooth movement within the city.
