GRA Addresses Technical Challenges Affecting Tax Payments on Ghana.gov

BY; Regina Bless

The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) says it is working to resolve intermittent technical challenges affecting tax payments made through the Ghana.gov payment platform.

The challenge, which began on Friday, August 14, 2026, affects payments initiated through the Integrated Customs Management System (ICUMS), Integrated Tax Administration System (ITAS), and Ghana Integrated Tax Management and Information System (GITMIS).

According to the GRA, the issue affects payment processing only and does not disrupt the filing of tax returns. However, some payments may take longer to process or reflect on taxpayers’ respective portals.

The Authority says it is working with its technical partners to restore normal payment services. Outstanding transactions will be processed and reflected once the system is fully stabilised.

The GRA has apologised for the inconvenience and assured taxpayers that measures are being taken to minimise further disruptions.
