Joana Gyan Cudjoe Ends Seven-Year Professional Partnership With Keche Global
By Zainab Ali
Amenfi Central Member of Parliament and entrepreneur Joana Gyan Cudjoe has ended her seven-year professional and contractual relationship with Ghanaian music duo Keche Global.
The development brings to a close a partnership that began in 2019 and saw Joana Gyan Cudjoe play a significant role in the duo’s professional and business activities.
The announcement was made by GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd, the company associated with Joana Gyan Cudjoe. The company said the agreement with Keche Global had expired and would not be renewed.
During the seven-year partnership, Joana Gyan Cudjoe served as executive producer and provided support in several areas of the duo’s career, including music production, music videos, marketing, branding, artist development, photography, travel, media promotion and management.
The partnership also coincided with the duo’s transition from being known simply as Keche to Keche Global, as efforts were made to expand their brand and reach a wider audience.
Several musical projects were released during the period, with the partnership supporting the duo’s activities and development within Ghana’s entertainment industry.
Despite the end of the professional relationship, the announcement stressed that the separation was amicable and was not the result of a dispute or disagreement.
The development is particularly notable because Joana Gyan Cudjoe is also married to Keche Andrew, one half of the music duo.
Reports following the announcement clarified that the end of the business relationship does not mean the end of their marriage. Joana Gyan Cudjoe and Keche Andrew remain married despite the conclusion of the professional partnership.
Going forward, Keche Global is expected to operate independently, with the duo taking responsibility for decisions concerning their management, business partnerships, record companies, promoters and other professional arrangements.
For Joana Gyan Cudjoe, the end of the partnership is expected to create room to pursue other business and entertainment opportunities through GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd, including the development of new talents.
The announcement therefore marks the end of one significant chapter in the duo’s career while opening a new phase for both sides of the former professional partnership.
