Passport application website temporarily unavailable

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced a temporary technical disruption affecting its online passport application platform, passport.mfa.gov.gh.

According to the Ministry, some applicants may currently be unable to access the website due to the technical difficulties. The issue has resulted in the platform being temporarily unavailable.

The Ministry said its technical team is working closely with the National Signals Bureau to identify and resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

It has apologised to applicants and other users for the inconvenience caused by the disruption and assured the public that further communication will be issued once access to the platform has been restored.

Applicants are therefore encouraged to await the Ministry’s official update on the status of the website.
