Railway Workers Union commends the government for settling 20 months salary arrears.

The Railway Workers Union of Ghana has commended the government for paying 20 months of outstanding salary arrears owed to workers of the Ghana Railway Company Limited.

The arrears, covering October 2024 to May 2026, were paid on August 24.

According to the Union, the payment has brought relief to workers who have endured months of financial difficulties.

The Union expressed appreciation to the government for honouring to ensure regular payment of salaries going forward.
