Report anyone selling Big Push contracts to police — Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwame Governs Agbodza

The Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwame Governs Agbodza, has urged the public to report anyone claiming to be selling government road contracts under the flagship Big Push programme to the police, warning that the projects are not for sale.

In a post on X, the Minister cautioned the public against falling victim to fraudsters purporting to have access to contracts under the initiative.

“BIG PUSH projects NOT FOR SALE. Report ANYONE offering a ‘Big Push project’ for sale to the nearest police station,” he wrote.

His warning follows reports that some individuals are allegedly claiming to have access to contracts under the government’s flagship road infrastructure programme and offering them for sale.

Mr. Agbodza stressed that anyone involved in such activities should be reported immediately for investigation and possible prosecution, reaffirming the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability in the implementation of the Big Push initiative.
