Zoomlion launches disinfection exercise across 22 MMDAs in Central Region

Zoomlion Company Limited has commenced an eight-day disinfection and disinfestation exercise across 22 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) in the Central Region.

The initiative is aimed at reducing the risk of water- and vector-borne diseases following the recent flooding that affected several communities in the region.

As part of the exercise, Zoomlion teams will disinfect key public spaces, including schools, markets, health facilities and public toilets. Other areas affected by the floods will also be covered.

The exercise is expected to help improve sanitation and protect residents from diseases that could emerge in the aftermath of the floods.

The intervention forms part of efforts to safeguard public health and restore hygienic conditions in communities affected by the recent flooding.
