The President of Ghana, Nana Akuffo Addo has inaugurated a new court building at Kintampo in the Kintampo North Municipality of the Bono East Region, as part of his two days visit in the region.
The president entrusted the hope that the facility would be maintained to promote equity and sustain peace in the area.
He expressed his government’s commitment to developing the welfare of Ghanaians – which can be done through proper implementation of pragmatic policies and programs for the benefit of all Ghanaians.
According to earlier requests by the chiefs for provision of social amenities like road network, healthcare facility and educational facility, the President assured the people that the said ministries will be instructed to take on the issues.
On behalf of the Mo Traditional Authority in the municipality, Nana Adjei Adinkra appealed to the government to help the judicial service in upgrading the court to a High Court and also elevate the Kintampo Government Hospital to a teaching hospital.
